Branson Landing Condos Are Hot Properties
Branson Landing, the newly opened "mixed use" property developed in Branson, MO by HCW Development Co., LLC, set a few records when it launched pre-construction sales of its condominiums last year. It was not only the first of its kind to be developed in Branson, but more than $90 million in condo inventory flew off HCW's books and into the hands of eager buyers and investors in the first six months of sales.
"That's a totally off-the-charts launch for condominiums in Southwest Missouri," said G. Kim McDonald, president for marketing at HCW. The record-setting response indicated, in McDonald's estimation, that the public was eager for something new and different.
Branson Landing is clearly that, and yet in many ways it's a return to a lifestyle that prizes proximity over the suburban cul de sac. "Back at the turn of the century," McDonald said, "it was common for people to live above the store, so to speak.
Apartment buildings were close to the grocer, the café on the corner, and the barbershop, in other words. Branson Landing has taken that urban "neighborhood" concept and customized it for the Midwest market combining the best of both the retail and residential worlds.
"Where else in Branson," asks McDonald, "can you take the elevator and have a hundred fantastic retail stores and a dozen restaurants or cafes and nightly entertainment right outside the door?"
The condo market remains hot at Branson Landing and it's not too late to get in, McDonald says. Sales and Marketing VP Dennis Evans has the details and can be reached at 866-417-9300 or email him at devans@hcw.us.
