BRANSON AIRPORT ANNOUNCES SECOND AIR CARRIER TO SERVE NEW AIRPORT
BRANSON, MO — The Branson Airport, the first privately developed and operated commercial service airport in the U.S., announced today that Sun Country Airlines will provide exclusive non-stop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota to Branson, MO when the airport opens May 11. Sun Country becomes the second air carrier to announce service to the Branson Airport. AirTran Airways will be providing daily roundtrip nonstop flights from Atlanta and Milwaukee to Branson.
Sun Country Airlines will fly to Branson Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and will feature a $79 one-way* introductory fare. The schedule is as follows:
* Minneapolis-St. Paul to Branson, departs 7:30 a.m., arrives 9:00 a.m.
* Branson to Minneapolis-St. Paul, departs 1:35 p.m., arrives 3:10 p.m.
